Sascha Ley is a multidisciplinary artist with a penchant for offbeat projects.
As a vocalist, improviser, actress, polyglot poet and performer she explores the boundaries at the intersections of jazz, free improvisation, imaginary folklore, classical, avant-garde and new music creating a complementary blend of improvisation and composition.
Sascha performs internationally both solo and with her own duo to quartet combos, and as a guest in a wide variety of ensembles between jazz and contemporary music.
In addition to music, she continues to be active as an actor, performer and occasional director and is involved in the word and visual arts.
Since the beginning of 2000 Sascha has produced several shows, performances and albums under her label and Food for Thought Office yela music yela muse, based in Luxembourg.
